OIL SKETCHES
All from live models and represent two to three hours of time. Sketches are a preliminary step in portriature and really intended to be a work that I personally would not want to leave the studio without further refinement. This collection is shown for your interest as a part of the portrait process.
DRAWINGS
All from live modes except children. All drawings done in charcoal or conte (red, brown and white) either alone or in combination, on paper, and will not be labeled under individual works.
LANDSCAPES
Most works in this group, as well as the WATER and BUILDINGS groups, are plein air paintings meaning they were painted on site from nature; some are later used to develope larger paintings in the studio.
